Vincent Boutteau is Seaowl Group Managing Director. As part of this role, Vincent oversees Seaowl activities related to maritime drones (USVs). He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (France) and Ecole des Mines de Paris.

 

Hamish Norton
President, Star Bulk Carriers Corp
Hamish Norton is president of Star Bulk Carriers Corp. Until Dec. 31, 20‌12, he was Managing Director and Global Head of the Maritime group at Jefferies & Company Inc. He is known for creating Nordic American Tanker Shipping and Knightsbridge Tankers, the first two high dividend yield shipping companies.

 

Tore-Morten Olsen
President Maritime, Marlink
Tore Morten Olsen graduated with a M.Sc in Telecommunications from the Norwegian Technical University in 19‌93. He has 25 years of experience in the satellite communications sector, starting out as a technical product manager in 1994 and moving on to hold several senior management positions with Telenor, Marlink and Astrium Services / Airbus Defence and Space and now heading up the maritime division as President Maritime at Marlink.

 

Nicholas Brown
Communications Director, Bureau Veritas
Nick started his career with a major shipmanagement, shipowning and shipping services group in Hong Kong. Today he works in Paris for the Marine & Offshore Division of the Bureau Veritas Group. Founded in 18‌28 as a marine classification society, Bureau Veritas is a leading global provider of testing, inspection and certification services – with more than 75,‌000 employees in 1,6‌00 offices and laboratories world-wide.

 

Jean Baptiste Gillet
Strategy and Acquisition Director, Bureau Veritas
Marine & Offshore
Jean-Baptiste Gillet is Director of Strategy and Advanced Services for the Marine & Offshore Division of Bureau Veritas. As part of this role Jean-Baptiste oversees BV M&O cybersecurity activities. Before joining BV in 20‌16, he was Principal at Boston Consulting Group (strategy consulting). He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (France) and Columbia University (USA).
