Are you passionate about information security, governance, and team leadership?
We are looking for an experienced and motivated GRC Team Lead to join our growing Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team. In this role, you will combine people leadership, operational coordination, and hands-on consulting expertise to support both team success and high-quality client delivery. As a trusted advisor and team leader, you will play a key role in developing consultants, driving operational excellence, and delivering security and compliance projects across various industries.

What you’ll do

   Lead and develop the team

• Lead, mentor, and support consultants across different seniority levels
• Define and track performance goals aligned with business objectives
• Plan team workloads and ensure effective resource allocation
• Support onboarding, professional development, and continuous learning within the team

   Ensure operational excellence

• Monitor project execution, timelines, and quality standards
• Ensure consistent application of internal methodologies, procedures, and best practices
• Coordinate operational activities and proactively address challenges
• Review key client deliverables, including assessments, reports, and documentation
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery

   Deliver senior consulting expertise

• Lead and participate in client engagements related to security governance, risk management, compliance assessments, ISMS implementation, policy and procedure development, and regulatory alignment
• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients regarding scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate consultants on shared engagements and support knowledge transfer activities

   Drive service improvement

• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of GRC services and methodologies
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements
• Support innovation and enhance overall service quality and delivery

 

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in information security
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and regulatory requirements such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, NIS2, DORA, and related governance practices
• Solid knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure, operating systems, applications, and network security
• Experience in developing and reviewing security documentation, policies, procedures, and reports
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and coordinating teams
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
• Professional certifications in information security are an advantage
• Knowledge of Croatian and English in speech and writing.
