Cybersecurity Presales Manager

We are looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Presales Manager to join our growing Marlink Cyber team. In this role, you will support the sales organization by designing, positioning, and presenting complex cybersecurity solutions from the Marlink portfolio. Your primary focus will be SOC/MDR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, incident response, and penetration testing services, while also supporting broader cybersecurity offerings when needed.

As part of the Cyber Presales team, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them understand the business value of cybersecurity solutions. In close collaboration with Sales and Delivery teams, you will ensure solutions address customer needs and align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role suits a cybersecurity professional with presales, technical consulting, or solution architecture experience, capable of translating technical concepts into clear business value across the full solution lifecycle.

What you’ll do

• Lead presales activities for SOC/MDR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, incident response, and penetration testing opportunities
• Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to understand customer challenges and design tailored cybersecurity solutions
• Participate in customer discovery sessions, workshops, and technical presentations to position cybersecurity services effectively
• Design and document cybersecurity solutions across IT and, where applicable, OT environments
• Support the preparation of RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work (SoWs), and technical/commercial proposals
• Ensure proposed solutions are technically accurate, commercially aligned, and feasible for delivery
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical solution designs, including scope, architecture, and service components across SOC/MDR, EDR/XDR, and related security services
• Contribute to solution architectures aligned with industry frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure smooth handovers and successful project implementation
• Support internal alignment between Sales, Presales, Delivery, Product and Partner teams.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, cybersecurity, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity presales, solution architecture, technical consulting, managed security services, or related cybersecurity roles
• Solid understanding of SOC/MDR, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, incident response, SIEM technologies, and cybersecurity best practices
• Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, and OWASP
• Experience preparing technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SoWs, customer workshops, and solution documentation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are considered an advantage
