Marlink joins France Cyber Maritime to increase the cyber resilience of the maritime industry

We are extremely proud to announce that Marlink has joined France Cyber Maritime, only a few days after launching a new version of our CyberGuard solution to provide ship owners with enhanced threat detection.

14.03.2022 – France Cyber Maritime is a non-profit expert organisation aiming to increase the resilience of maritime operations to cyber threats and to develop a network of expertise in maritime cyber security.

To complete these tasks, France Cyber Maritime fosters the creation of tailored cyber security solutions and operates the M-CERT (Maritime Computer Emergency Response Team), a national centre which provides information and assistance to all maritime and port operators.

Marlink’s membership will extend the cooperation on cyber security solutions across the maritime sector, leveraging the expertise of shipping companies, technology providers and public entities through France Cyber Maritime with the objective of continuing to evolve the portfolio along concrete market and customer needs.

To protect shipping companies from potential business disruption due to cyberattacks, they should consider subscribing to services from the CyberGuard security portfolio to detect cyber security threats putting their maritime assets and operations at risk, support digitalisation, and enable compliance with the latest maritime regulations and quality systems.

We are proud to team up with France Cyber Maritime to help increase cyber resilience. It comes as a natural step for Marlink which is committed to the implementation of more secure IT and OT at sea and already serves more than 1,000 vessels globally with our CyberGuard Threat Detection service.
