Iridium Extreme® & Iridium 9555® – Kit Changes – Manuals
The Iridium Extreme® and the Iridium 9555® handset kits now include multi-language Quick Start Guides, as well as a Product Regulatory & Safety Card. The guides are in seven (7) different languages including, English, Chinese, French, German, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The Quick Start Guide is easy to read and focused on helping end users get setup and equipped to use the product in the minimum time possible, thereby providing a better out of the box experience.
The latest copy of Iridium User Manuals are available online and can be downloaded from PartnerLink extranet. Please note that the User Manuals and the CDs have been phased out and will no longer be included in handset kits.
Iridium Handset Driver Installer Software that was present in the CD can be downloaded by going to PartnerLink also.
Iridium Mail & Web – No longer supports Twitter
Twitter has updated the transport layer security protocols of its Application Program Interface (API). As a consequence of this change, Iridium Mail and Web no longer supports Twitter posting.
The Tweet option has been removed from the Iridium Mail and Web App in the last app update release.
Twitter is still supported on the Iridium GO! App with our SMS interconnection via short code (40404) and should be used instead of the iridium Mail and Web app method, which no longer Works.

To utilize Twitter functionality on the Iridium GO! App the following is required:
• Active Twitter Account
• Active Iridium Number
• Ensure Iridium GO! Subscriber Number Linked to Your Twitter Account
To link your Twitter account with your Iridium GO! device follow these steps:
1. Login to Twitter.com
2. Update Your Account Settings with the Iridium Phone Number
Once the Iridium GO! has been linked to your Twitter account, posting text messages within the Iridium GO! Twitter feature will post directly to your Twitter profile. Further information on Tweeting via SMS can be found at support.twitter.com.
Iridium GO! Mail & Web – iOS App (v 3.0.3) update available
An update is now available for the Iridium GO!® Mail and Web App for iOS devices and can be accessed via the Apple App Store. App version 3.0.3 provides compatibility with the latest iOS 13 versions and resolves connectivity issues faced with sending/receiving mail.
While this release is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that the update be performed as soon as possible to enable the best service experience.
Iridium GO!® – Kit Changes
All Iridium GO! devices (Model: 9560N; New part number AHKTN1901) shipped now includes the firmware version 2.1.8 preloaded.
The Iridium GO! device kit now has updated artwork on the sleeve, and includes new multi-language Quick Start Guides, as well as a Product Regulatory & Safety Card in the box.
