New Business Director - Maritime (Sales)

Your Mission
As New Business Director – Maritime (Americas), you will:
- Lead Marlink’s ambition to secure recurring revenue from new customers within the Americas maritime segment.
- Open new accounts for Marlink in the region by leveraging market demand for secure managed network solutions and IoT data capture.
- Use a structured sales planning process to engage the global Marlink organization in capturing new business.
Main Tasks
- Identify potential new customers within the region.
- With the support of the Marlink team, develop and execute a strategy to capture each identified customer.
- Travel within the Americas region (North & South America) for customer-facing meetings.
- Deliver sales proposals and negotiate commercial contracts to secure recurring revenue.
- Provide market, customer, and competitive information to the Marlink organization to support further development of the Marlink Product Portfolio.

- Excellent communication skills with ability to uncover customer pains and identify decision making power within the customer organization.

Qualifications & Professional skills
- Proven experience capturing new market share in a competitive MSP ICT environment, ideally within a managed service provider or systems integrator.
- Knowledge of the maritime industry would be positive but not essential.
- Consultative selling approach with proven experience in liaising with c-level decision makers.
- An Engineering educational background is preferred, MBA is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English.
- In possession of a valid passport and driver’s license. Flexibility to travel within the region and beyond.
- Ideally living in one of the following locations; Houston (TX), New Orleans (LA), Miami (FL) metropolitan areas. However, remote working from other locations will be considered. You must be eligible to live and work in the USA to apply.
